Hello, my name is Michael Marcanik. I have no idea how many people will actually view this blog, but for those of you who do, I thank you for giving it a peek at the least.
As you can probably guess, this blog is dedicated to one of my greatst passions, the St. Louis Cardinals. I am a devoted Cardinals fan from (surprise!) St. Louis, MO. Being such a devoted fan, I have decided to start a blog following the team I love throughout the 2010 season. This blog will contain my constant thoughts about the team as the season progresses. I plan on posting after every single game this season.
Though I am a journalism student and alot of my writing will clearly reflect that, don't expect it to be too formal and journalistic. You'll see me refer to the Cardinals as "we" from time to time, as many fans do. I'll openly use nicknames and abreviations when referring to people (like TLR for Tony La Russa). This is just coming from the eyes of a devoted fan.
So if you're a big fan of the Cardinals and enjoy talking St. Louis Cardinals baseball, then I think you will enjoy this blog. Again, thanks to anyone who views this blog, and of course, go Cardinals!
